Welcome to our Year 3 page.

On this page, you will find relevant information to support you and your child through this academic year. Year leaders will send a weekly email every Friday to update parents of events, learning covered and important dates.

PE and Games

Please ensure your child is wearing correct PE kit on the following days:

3TM: Wednesday (Games) and Friday (PE)

3S: Monday (PE) and Wednesday (Games)

3R: Tuesday (PE) and Wednesday (Games)

Should there be any changes to the above, it will be communicated to you in the Friday email.

Home Learning Expectations

Reading: As a school, we place great emphasis on reading. Children are expected to read for a minimum of 15 minutes each day. This must be logged in their diaries and signed by an adult. A team point is awarded for every entry in their diaries. A raffle ticket will be awarded for five consecutive entries.

Spellings: Children are set weekly spellings every Thursday. These will be tested on the following Tuesday. A half-termly booklet is given to each child so they can practise. They also have an EdShed login with games and activities to help them learn their new words.

Maths: Each week children must log in to TTRockstars and complete their 15 minute garage session.
