At Meath Green Junior School, the intent of the KS2 Art curriculum is to inspire and nurture every child's creativity and imagination. We aim to provide a stimulating environment where children can explore a diverse range of artistic techniques and media, fostering their confidence in self-expression.  Through studying the works of various artists and cultures, children will develop a deep appreciation of art history and the different ways art reflects and shapes our world. Our curriculum is designed to build on skills progressively, and to equip children with the knowledge and skills to experiment, take risks, and critically evaluate their own work and that of others. Ultimately, we want to help our children to develop a life-long enjoyment for art, and to have fun!
