Ethos and Values
Aims and Vision
Our shared vision and values are at the core of everything we do at Meath Green.
Being respectful, honest, brave, resilient and proud enable us to build a strong school ethos, where every member of the school community strives to be the best they can be. This vision is shared by children, staff, parents and governors. Our values form the basis for everything that we do. They are embedded throughout the school and are very much part of a common language of good learning and good citizenship. They underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.
We believe strongly in our children achieving the highest possible standards; not only in their academic work but in their attitude to life and their understanding of their role as future successful citizens in the twenty-first century.
This understanding is developed further when looking at British Values, as making our young people aware of the importance of democracy, rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those of different faiths and beliefs only enhances our own school values. This is further enhanced through our 'No Outsiders' personal development programme of study.
